Pawfect Pantry FAQ'S
Your Questions Answered
Fresh food is different from wet food. Our fresh food is gently cooked to remove pathogens while preserving the integrity of human-grade ingredients. Unlike many commercial pet foods, fresh food offers significant health benefits. We've seen the positive impact on our own dogs and aim to provide all-natural, convenient dog food.
We recommend a 10-day transition period to switch your dog to Pawfect Pantry. However, a shorter period, like 5 days, can work if your dog seems comfortable. Pay attention to your dog's reactions; if they show disinterest or reluctance, they may need more time. Your dog's feedback will guide you in determining the best pace for the transition.
Absolutely! We prepare our food with the highest level of care and without the use of any preservatives, ensuring it stays fresh and nutrient-rich. To keep it fresh, we suggest storing the food in the freezer and gently defrosting it overnight for consumption the following day. Once defrosted, the food can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 7 days with unopen pack and up to 4 days once opened. This practice helps maintain the food's taste, texture, and nutritional content. Adhering to these instructions will guarantee that your pet enjoys the best possible meal while keeping the food safe and tasty.
Our food comes ready-to-serve after you carefully thaw it from the freezer (recommended 12 hours fridge thaw). You can conveniently serve it straight from the fridge. However, if your dog prefers warm food, you can add a touch of hot water to provide that comforting temperature. So whether your pet enjoys a chilled meal or a warm one, our food is designed to meet their preferences with ease.
